Our family recently stayed at Dove Cottage, located just 10 km from the Octagon Theatre. As a family who enjoys hiking, we were delighted to discover local walks right at our doorstep. the cottage itself was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights of our trip was the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the local pub, where we enjoyed delicious meals and even had the opportunity to join in a sing-along with the locals. the proximity to the pub was convenient, especially after a long day of exploring the area. Our children particularly enjoyed the family-friendly amenities at the cottage, such as the cozy beds and the lovely fireplace where we spent our evenings. the small welcome pack and the information provided about the area added a special touch to our stay. Our experience at Dove Cottage was delightful and memorable. We would highly recommend it to families looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat in the Derbyshire dales.
